The III International Festival «New Life of Bass Instruments» continues the tradition of innovative musical experiments, laid down during the time of Vasily Andreev, aimed at revealing the potential and untapped possibilities of Russian instruments. «New Life of Bass Instruments» is taking place within the framework of the modern «Creative Laboratory of the Andreevsky Orchestra» – a project aimed at finding new combinations, forms, approaches and styles, not limited by anything except high professional requirements. The New Life of Bass Instruments festival is intended to become a unique platform for self-expression of musicians who have gone beyond the traditional performance of bass instruments in the Russian orchestra. It opens its doors to all professional performers who want to share their experience, fundamentally new ideas and achievements in this type of creativity. «A New Life for Bass Instruments» implies moving away from the stereotypes that have developed in musical practice, encouraging the most daring ideas and mutual support in their implementation.
