The Andreevsky Orchestra returns to the Mariinsky Theatre stage

State Academic Russian Orchestra named after V.V. In the year of her 135th anniversary, Andreev is resuming performances at the Mariinsky Theatre and will present a new programme at the Concert Hall on October 21.

The artistic director and chief conductor of the ensemble, People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Khokhlov, selected works that will reveal all the colors of the unique sound of the Russian orchestra.

State Academic Russian Orchestra named after V.V. Andreev is the first professional group in world history in which national instruments were united according to the principle of a symphony orchestra.
