Born in Leningrad. He received his initial musical education at the Saint Petersburg Lyceum of Arts under the tutelage of L. N. Lavrikova and E.N. Galetskaya. He continued his further studies with the Honored Artist of Russia, Honored Artist of Russia, Professor M.I. Senchurov. Studying under his guidance, he graduated with honors from the St. Petersburg College of Music named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov, St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A.  Rimsky-Korsakov and postgraduate studies at the conservatory. Laureate of international competitions.

Since 2006 – artist of the prima balalaikas group of the State Academic Russian Orchestra named after V.V.Andreev. He has performed with the orchestra on numerous occasions as a soloist, as well as in a duet with international competition laureate Natalia Sapunova. The author of numerous arrangements and instrumentations for the Andreevsky Orchestra and the ensembles of the group's soloists.
