Natalia Nemchenko
Oboe, orchestra soloist

Born in Leningrad. At the age of ten she began to learn to play the oboe, studying at Music School No. 38. She continued her education at the St. Petersburg Music College named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov, which she graduated with honors, after which she studied at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. She combined her studies with work at the Chamber Opera, and after graduating from the conservatory she became a soloist with the St. Petersburg Mozarteum chamber orchestra. Laureate of the international competition.

From 1997 to 2016, she was the concertmaster of the oboe group of the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra «Classica». Since 2016 – first oboe of the State Academic Russian Orchestra named after V.V.Andreev.

Natalia Nemchenko has repeatedly performed as a soloist in the best concert halls of St. Petersburg. Her repertoire includes concertos for oboe and orchestra by A. Vivaldi, A. Marcello, double concertos by A. Salieri, for oboe and flute, I.S. Bach, for oboe and violin. Natalia Nemchenko has been performing with the Andreevsky Orchestra as a soloist since 2021. The passionate phrasing and especially soulful instrument sound of Natalia Nemchenko's compositions set them apart.

Since 2018 – Senior Lecturer of Oboe at the Institute of Music, Theatre and Choreography of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen. In 2011, she was awarded an honorary diploma from the Government of St. Petersburg «For long-term and conscientious work and great contribution to the development of culture and art».
