Ekaterina Sayapina
Artist of the second small domras group, soloist of the orchestra

She is a graduate of the M.P. Mussorgsky Music College and the St. Petersburg Children's School of Arts, which bears G.V. Sviridov's name. She graduated from the Domra class of Professor A.V. Makarov, the Honored Artist of Russia, at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. During her studies, she repeatedly became the winner of all-Russian and international competitions. Since 1998 – artist of the small domras group and soloist of the State Academic Russian Orchestra named after V.V.Andreev.

Arrangements of Russian and international classics created especially for the Andreevsky Orchestra make up the majority of Ekaterina Sayapina's solo repertoire. She also performs as part of the ensemble of soloists of the orchestra under the direction of Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Fonin.

She combines her active concert activity with teaching at the St. Petersburg Music Lyceum. Her students have repeatedly become laureates of international and regional competitions. In addition, she teaches at creative schools, serves on competition juries, and teaches master classes both in Russia and outside.
