Anastasia Fedoseenko
Artist of the first small domras group, soloist of the orchestra

Since 2005 she has been an artist of the small domras group of the State Academic Russian Orchestra named after V.V.Andreev and the soloist of the group. Associate Professor of the Department of Stringed Folk Instruments of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. Laureate of international competitions.

She was born into a family of musicians - balalaika player, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Sergei Piskarev and conductor, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, laureate of the Russian government award «Soul of Russia» Fania Piskareva. She graduated with honors in 2005 from the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor I.M. Fochenko's domra class at the St. Petersburg College of Music named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. Under the guidance of Professor N. N. Shkrebko, an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, she pursued her studies in the conservatory's postgraduate program after earning an honors degree at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov in 2010. She won city and international contests, participated regularly in the department's performances, the student‘s philharmonic, and received scholarships from multiple foundations when she was a student. Anastasia Fedoseenko regularly conducts master courses for instructors and students, participates in a number of festivals, and is an active concert and educational participant. She also serves on juries for international, all-Russian, and regional contests. She is also the main coordinator of the All-Russian open competition of performers on stringed folk instruments named after A.B. Shalov.

The performer’s solo programs include her own arrangements of classical works. Anastasia Fedoseenko frequently expands the Andreevsky Orchestra's repertoire by adding arrangements for solo domra in an effort to create new sound. A. Fedoseenko performed solo with the orchestras: State Orchestra of Folk Instruments «Metelitsa»; Orchestra of Folk Instruments «Silver Strings»; Student Orchestra of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory, Folk Group Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments «Rossiyane»; Orchestra of Teachers of the Children's School of Arts named after A. Bogatyrev of the city of Vitebsk (Belarus). Along with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, which was led by the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation K. Orbelian, Anastasia participated in the tour of D. Hvorostovsky, the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, as a member of the group «Style of Five». She recorded two disks with the traditional group «Rossiyane» an orchestra of Russian folk instruments, as a soloist.

In addition to her solo work, Anastasia was an active participant in various folk instrument ensembles, including the winner of the Grand Prix of the International Competition «Window to Europe» - the domra ensemble named after I.I. Shitenkov. Currently, Anastasia is an artist and soloist of the chamber composition of the Andreevsky Orchestra.

In 2018, Anastasia Fedoseenko was awarded a letter of gratitude from the St. Petersburg Committee on Culture «For significant contribution to the development of the cultural sphere of St. Petersburg».
