New life for bass instruments. Gala concert

The Andreevsky Orchestra invites participants of the festival «New Life of Bass Instruments» to a gala concert.

The New Life of Bass Instruments festival is being held for the third time. It became the first of its kind creative platform for professional bass players. Its main mission is the practical study of the possibilities and prospects of bass instruments as soloists.

Indispensable in the orchestra, the bass domra and double bass balalaika rarely appear on stage as soloists. The festival will bring together Russia's leading performers on these instruments.

The concert will feature original works and unusual arrangements of classical pieces. The resonant bass voices will be accompanied by the Andreevsky Orchestra conducted by Sergei Fedoseenko.

Bass domra: Sergey Fedorov, Semyon Mozolkin, Sofia Alekh.

Balalaika bass: Andrey Kotyagin, Yaroslav Kotlov.

Balalaika-double bass: Alexey Piottukh, Vasily Shekin, Yuri Lukanin, Mikhail Tikhonov, Eduard Chaadaev, Denis Shutov.
