Инна Ульянова
Концертмейстер оркестра, концертмейстер группы малых домр

She was raised in a tiny village in southern Siberia and took a domra class since she had always been interested in Russian instrument music. She honed her performing abilities at the Gnessin State Musical College before enrolling in Professor I.I. Shitenkov's class at the Leningrad (St. Petersburg) State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. After graduating from the Conservatory in 1991, Inna Ulyanova was invited to join the small domras group of the V. V. Andreev. Under the direction of D. D. Khokhlov, she worked with a keen interest in the team and learned the characteristics of performing academic and folk music from Russia. In 2001, Inna Ulyanova took over as the group’s concertmaster.

Her meticulousness and attention to the musical text, delicate articulation, ongoing search for intriguing timbres, and unconventional interpretations of musical material are characteristics that set her creative style apart. In her work, she pays great attention to improving his performance skills and passing on his experience to the orchestra’s young artists.
