Music of Russian fairy tales

Music of Russian fairy tales

We become acquainted with Russian fairy tales in our distant childhood, when our parents, grandparents read them to us. The wisdom of our ancestors accompanies us throughout our lives. Fairy tales foster love for one’s native land, develop the mind, feelings and imagination. We absorb every line, and we can recite many of the stories by heart.

Composers often turn to fairy tale plots in their work, creating bright and emotional musical pieces. A musical fairy tale conveys the spiritual and moral content of fairy-tale events and influences the listener through emotions and feelings.
